1. Subject
This document is provided to document the existence of artifacts known as the "Celestial Bibles". The bibles which appear to be ordinary (although sometimes very ornate) books are written in ancient Hebrew and contain far more than simple biblical scripts.

2. Item
The first of these bibles was discovered in 1838 according to Vatican sources. It was recovered from a dig seeking the Holy Lance at Antioch where the monk Peter Bartholomew was laid to rest. This bible was believed to be the personal bible of Bartholomew, but it contained several "extra" sections, including the "Gospel of Mary Magdalene", "The Gospel of Jesus", chapters 23 and 24 of "St. Johns Revelations", and chapters detailing methods for demonic exorcisms and angelic summoning. The bible was collected by the Vatican and held for study and translation. Later when carbon-dating became possible this bible, known now as "Bartholomew's Bible" was checked and was discovered to have been created in approximately 540 AD, making it one of the oldest know copies in existence. By this time the Vatican had discovered other properties of the bible and had begun a search for other copies. To date 8 copies are know to exist. 3 are held by the Vatican and 2 others are in Bureau 13 possession. The remaining 3 copies have been missing since the 1940's.

3. Powers A Celestial Bible in the hands of a priest is a powerful tool against evil, making exorcisms easier and granting divine assistance to those who know how to use the texts properly. The mere presence of a Celestial Bible has been known to turn evil beings aside or destroy them outright. White mages in possession of a Celestial Bible find it easier to cast spells of protective and holy nature, as well as protecting them against demonic powers.

4. Present Owner
As listed above 3 known bibles are currently missing, the records having been lost in the 1940's.

5. Recommended Action
Anyone finding a Celestial Bible should contact the bureau to determine if it a missing or "new" copy.
