1. Subject
This document describes the standard weapons used by IAN infiltraitors/soldiers.The most common weapons are the wrist aimed pulse stunner IWAPS, and the high energy beam laser emitter rifle IHEBLE. Several of these weapons were confiscated by Team Easychair & Team Coldfire after IAN encounters during 1999 and 2000.

2. Items
The IWAPS consists of a wrap-around wrist bracer approx. 5 inches long and ½ inch thick, this weapon is easily concealed under a long sleeve shirts or coats until activated with a tap button located on the underside. The bracer extends a 3 & ½ inch barrel from the top of the unit and a touch pad extends from the underside to the center of the palm (which acts as the trigger).
The IHEBLE laser rifle similar in design to a US military M-16. The laser rifle is the heavy weapon of choice for the IAN soldiers.

3. Powers
The IWAPS fires a high powered electrical burst that has a disrupting effect on the nervous system of living things (it does minimal damage to non-living things). One shot in sufficent to stun most people temporarily and 2 is usually enought to render a normal human unconcious for several hours.
The IHEBLE inflicts a large abount of burn damage to its target, sufficent to severly wound or incapacitate most persons with a single shot and kill with a second blast. The IHEBLE beam can be deflected by reflective surfaces but the surface area is ususally scortched by the high heat of the beam that it becomes unfit to reflect a second beam.

4. Present Owner
The IAN militray as well as Bureau R&D.

5. Recommended Action
If a team is issued (or confiscates) one or more of these items they will be required to turn them over to Bureau HQ for a check. If the weapon is functional it will be returned tot he Team if they are qualified to used it.
