1. Subject
This document is provided in response to inquiries regarding the artifact known as the "Mindstar Pendant". The pendant is a psionic artifact which increases its wearers ability.
2. Item
The pendant is a disc 33 millimeters in diametor and is made of 95% silver, 3% iron and 2% unknown material. After a psionicly active person wears the pendant for a full day, the pendant's powers become active. NOTE: It is unknown at this time why the pendant requires a full day of wear to activate its powers. The pendant has a set of runes inscribe upon its surface, one rune per section of the pendant, the meaning of the markings in unknow at this time, the marking are not difinitive enough to classify as part of a single runic alphabet.
3. Powers The pendant functions as a psionic focus and amplifier. Once activated for a wearer the pendant enhances the wearer's own psionic ability and enables him to recover form his mental exertions faster than he would normally. A side-effect that has been discovered is that the wear slleps 12 hours a day once the pendant is active. It is possible that this is where the extra power it provides is drawn from.
4. Present Owner
This item is currently possesed by the Bureau pending further study of its composition, origin and powers.
5. Recommended Action Further study. If any agent has information concerning the Mindstar Pendant, he or she should notify Bureau R&D as soon as possible.
