Suspected Paranormal Incidents
LOCATION: Morgan City, Louisiana
INCIDENT: A total of 4 people have vanished into the swamps near Morgan City. Two tourists and a guide went into the swamps and never returned. After they disappeared, the guide's mechanic went looking for them. None of them ever returned. Police located the debris from the boats that the group and the mechanic had used. Several of the boats' pieces bore huge claw marks (bigger than those of a grizzly) and a few local residents believe that the marks were made by a local legend called the "boojum." Police deny that the marks are supernatural, saying only that "... there are marks that may, or may not, be from a large animal..." The local legend says that the "boojum" lives under the swamps and only comes out to eat every few years. The legends also claim that humans are the "boojum's" favorite food...
