The Party
"Beer run!!"
The phenomena hereafter known as The Party was first encountered by Those Other Guys when they were sent to investigate the theft of a vending machine by a hot-air balloonist and a "guy with a sword." After using what little investigative skills they possessed, Those Other Guys discovered the source of the theft to be an invisible, flying, split-level ranch house. Upon gaining entry to the house, agents of Those Other Guys discovered a large assortment of paranormal beings engaged in various and sundry party-type activities, including poker, drinking, dancing, drinking, Monopoly, drinking, Ping-Pong, drinking, and summoning demons for pizza and beer runs. Further investigation revealed that The Party was being hosted by Loki (newly freed Norse god of mischief) and Bob. After intense negotiations, veiled threats, and not-so-veiled counter-threats, an agreement between Loki and the Bureau was reached. The Bureau agreed to make regular deliveries of pizza, pretzels, chips, and beer. The The Party guests agreed not to send any more demons and to stop stealing vending machines.
Bureau agents have since visited The Party on several occasions to reconnoiter and to provide updated information to Bureau HQ. Some agents have even spent their R&R time there.
Note to any Bureau agents wishing to visit The Party; you must first clear it with HQ and contact Team Gemini for the current location.
The following are some of the better known guests of The Party:
- Douglas MacCleary - Hot air balloonist, and one of the few mundanes in The Party.
- Janus Manning - Known to be a low-level empath. Often found at the poker table.
- Edward Jones - Hard to miss, he's a 600 pound gargoyle.
- Rachel Duncan - The six foot Amazon who can bench-press two tons (careful, boys!).
- Leprechaun - He's a... well... he's a Leprechaun (hide your gold). He's still upset about Sutter's Mill.
- Michelle Jarvis - The spirit of a deceased caterer. Who else are you going to get to cater this party?
- Janet - Black mage. Often seen wearing "Grateful Dead" T-shirt. (Don't piss her off) Specializes in demon summoning.
- Loki - Read your mythology. (Unwittingly released by Team Scorpio. Way to go guys!)
- Eugene Fox - Suffers from minor curse of transparent skin and organs. Often mistaken for a skeleton.
- Rick Pennell - Short, stout man who can and does eat anything, literally. Has been known to eat the chair you're sitting in, if your not careful.
- Bernard "Bernie" Nelson - Low-level Precognitive powers. He often wanders up and hands you things before you know you want them.
- Jennifer Hammond - Has the unusual ability of "touch vampirism." Drains blood by skin contact. (Don't shake hands unless you can stand to lose a pint)
- Tonya Goodson - Incredibly (actually supernaturally) good luck. Is not allowed at the poker table. Instead spends most of her time filling out sweepstakes entries.
- Donna Abernathy - 17 year-old Pyrokinetic who enjoys "rock 'n roll," horses, and arson.
- "Mimic" - Real name unknown. Unconsciously "morphs" into whomever he is near.
- Victoria - Female Tenctonian refugee. Spy for the Bureau.
- The Demons - These three commute from Hell every afternoon at 4:00pm to watch "the Brady Bunch" (They are horrific!).
- Bob - He owns the house.
