Banes & Boons of True Witches:
  • Hurt by salt (Bane: damages 1d10 by touch)
  • Cannot touch holy ground (Bane: damages 2d10 by touch)
  • Not affected by holy symbols, their power is from demonic source, but they are human.
  • A True Witch's presence can be detected by anyone with a Supernatural Sensitivity of 15 or more
  • Possesses a random resistance from page 55 of B13: STNF in addition to...
  • Possess 90% Fire Resistance automatically
  • +5 to MCD stat
  • Many witches go barefoot since as long as they are in contact with the earth (natural ground such as dirt, stone, grass) they are nearly immune to unnatural weapons. Processed items such as mass manufactured bullets and knives will have little effect (1/10th normal damage). However a hand made whip, arrow or other weapon would inflict normal damage to a true witch.


    All true witches possess at least one of the following innate abilities:
  • Flight (self only, up to 30 MPH)
  • Telekinesis (10 pounds maximum weight)
  • Empathic Sense
  • Enhanced Healing (1d4 per hour)
  • Fear Aura
  • Aura Sight
  • Disease Touch
  • Truth Sense
  • Silent Movement
  • Suggestion (resist with Willpower)


    All True Witches possess the following spells and skills at level 10 or more:
  • Unholy
  • Curse
  • Alchemy (requires highly unusual components)
  • Divination
  • Incantations
  • Rituals
  • Magic, Black

    Additionally depending on the rank of their patron they may possess:

  • Shape Change
  • Dowsing
  • Illusion
  • Wizardy
  • Necromancy


    Whatever abilities the patron possess, the witch will possess in full (Level 20).
    Example: a witch whose patron is Fopas (an Earl with 7500 WKM) would possess the extra skills of Logic, Ethics, Languages and any General Skill at level 20, as well as the innate powers of Cause Invisibility, Locate Treasure, Hide/Find Things.

    The WKM level of the patron determines the WKM amount the witch can use each day, the power the witch can access refreshes each sunset but loses half of any unused WKM at sunrise, thus witches are more powerful at night. Witches have access to WKM equal to 10% of the patron's maximum, so in our example the witch whose patron is Fopas would be able to use up to 750 WKM, losing half of any unused WKM at sunrise, then regaining access to another 750 at sunset and so on. Witches do not regain WKM as mages do and cannot create mage staves or store WKM for later use, but they can use WKM stored in items or in areas.

    Note that True Witches can possess other spells but must learn them on their own.
    For every level the true witch gains he or she recieves 1d4 additional stat points to invest in physical stats (Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Agility, Charisma).
    For every spell a true witch gains mastery in (17 or higher) the witch recieves an additional innate ability from its patron.




    Lesser Witches


    Similar to the True Witch, there exists a sub-class of known as the "lesser witch", although no lesser witch would ever go by the title. The lesser witchs often refer to themselves simply as "witch" or "warlock" (anyone calling themselves "warlock" is probably a lesser witch, since true witches would hurt people for using that title).
    Unlike the True Witch, the lesser witch was not born with power derived from a patron demon, but instead traded thier soul later in life in exchange for power. In most cases the lesser witch was a weak mage or possessed no magical power at all, and in a mad quest for power made the ultimate bargain with a demon. In exchange for rights to the persons soul, the patron demon grants the lesser witch power akin to that of a True Witch. A demon can be a patron to as many as 3 lesser witches.

    Lesser Witches have the following Banes and Boons:
  • Cannot touch holy ground (Bane: damages 2d10 by touch)
  • Not affected by holy symbols, their power is from demonic source, but they are human.
  • A lesser witch's presence can be detected by anyone with a Supernatural Sensitivity of 18 or more
  • Possess 50% Fire Resistance automatically
  • +2 to MCD stat


    All lesser witches possess at least one of the following innate abilities:

  • Telekinesis (5 pounds maximum weight)
  • Fear Aura
  • Aura Sight
  • Truth Sense
  • Silent Movement


    All lesser witches possess the following spells and skills at level 7 or more:
